Dr. Folasade Bosede Oluwabamiwo


Folasade Bosede Oluwabamiwo, is a food scientist, attended the University of Ibadan, Ibadan Nigeria where she obtained Ph.D. in Food Technology. She started her career with NAFDAC as a Principal regulatory Officer in 1996. Trained by IAEA in Siebersdorf Austria on Mycotoxin Analysis (August 2002 –February 2003) was pioneer head of Unit Mycotoxin Laboratory NAFDAC Oshodi Laboratory, Lagos

Achievements: ISO 17025 accreditation March 2005 in aflatoxin analysis in cereals.

Consulted for ABT Associate USA (2012) and PACA participated in the First and second Country wide assessment for aflatoxins in Nigeria

Training Officer Mycotoxicology Society of Nigeria (2006 -2014) – trained numerous students, University lecturers, Industrialists in Mycotoxin analysis

President Mycotoxicology Society of Nigeria 2016 – Date
